In a historic move, an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) has been scheduled for September 28 in New Delhi with the intention of moving a no confidence motion against President Anil Jain.

Eight state tennis associations that are associated with AITA have sought to do so. It’s interesting to note that the All India Tennis Association (AITA) convened the EGM on the day it was supposed to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and run elections. The results of these elections are confidential and must be sent in a sealed envelope to the Delhi High Court.

Jain is accused of “loading the association with his personal ‘entitled’ expenses by travelling with his family abroad several times.” Jain is a BJP member of the Rajya Sabha. The state entities that put out the motion of no confidence

If the motion of confidence is approved, Jain would step down as AITA President. The head of the federation has never been ousted in this way in the history of Indian tennis.

Jain told PTI that state units had turned against him since he instructed them to adhere to the Sports Code in the run-up to the elections.

“Is this how they’re punishing me for telling them to abide by the Sports Code? They are all going to be disqualified due of the error in the Electoral College. “I’ll leave if I did anything wrong,” Jain declared.

There are further accusations against Jain, according to a state associations official, and it has nothing to do with adhering to the Sports Code.

If this was the problem, then why did he remain silent when the AGM and elections were announced and the EC met last month?

“We need to encourage the players, clean up the system, and transform Indian tennis at this moment. In this, we are all together. Our crew is capable of handling it. After these elections, Indian tennis would change, he said. Among the

A state association wrote to AITA on September 21 saying, “He has used the AITA Trust for his personal hidden agenda, disregarding all the principles of good governance, by becoming

“In order to preserve unity and dignity within the AITA fraternity, all of the members have, thus far, kept quiet.
