Last month, shooter Manu Bhaker made history by becoming the first athlete from Independent India to win several medals at one Olympic Games. At the Paris Olympics in 2024,
the 22-year-old won bronze in both the women’s 10-meter air pistol competition and the mixed 10-meter air pistol competition. Manu has won accolades for her nation, but lately she has been the subject of social media critics since she brought her Olympic medals from Paris to events. But Manu’s scathing response has quiet the trolls.
