Mason and Indian Hill increased their collection of tennis trophies on Saturday at the College of Wooster when they won the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association event again as a team.
Three singles courts and two doubles courts are used for team dual matches in this tournament, which is distinct from the Ohio High School Athletic Association singles and doubles tournaments.
Indian Hill won the championship for the second consecutive year, and Mason won it for the eighth. After overcoming Toledo Anthony Wayne 3-0 in the semifinals, Mason moved on to the championship match.
Emma Wagner, who defeated her No. 3 singles opponent 6-0, 6-1, was a key player in the semifinal victory over the Generals. Adriana Moreno and Bhavana Singidi easily won 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 1 doubles event,With scores of 6-2, 6-0, Gotike and Saanvi Reddy easily prevailed at No. 2 doubles.

At No. 2 singles, Chaudhuri maintained her impressive play by defeating her opponent 6-0, 6-0. At No. 2 doubles, Moreno and Singidi scored the second point with a commanding 6-1, 6-1 victory.

Thompson, Brown, and junior Ayla Daoud participated in the team competition as singles players. Senior Nayla Azarbeygui and sophomore Genevieve Chasar, as well as junior Grace Nguyen, participated in doubles play alongside Larsen. The roster also included Reese Hazen.
For Ward, who departed for Ithaca, New York, on Sunday to serve as an assistant coach for the Cornell University women’s tennis program, it was his final victory with Indian Hill.
