India’s team for the second Test against Bangladesh was revealed by the Men’s Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The BCCI announced that the selection committee decided to keep the same team for the second Test. On September 27, the second Test will take place in Kanpur.
KL Rahul’s place on the squad was discussed, particularly in light of his performance in the series opener at Chepauk. However, the selecting committee chose to offer him one more shot. It would be fascinating to watch, though, if Sarfaraz Khan is picked ahead of him in the starting lineup.
