In partnership with the Real Madrid Foundation (RMF), ROADIS, a worldwide organization with its headquarters located in Madrid and specializing in the creation, operation, and administration of global infrastructure assets, has opened Social Sports Schools in Varanasi.

The Real Madrid Foundation (RMF), a branch of the illustrious Real Madrid Club that oversees its social and educational programs worldwide, and KHUSHI, an NGO founded by cricket legend Kapil Dev to support underprivileged children, have joined forces to launch Social Sports Schools in Varanasi,

marking a significant step toward the holistic development of young people through the practice of football in India. ROADIS is a multinational leader in the investment, development, operation, and management of global infrastructure assets with its headquarters located in Madrid.

initiative is to provide 200 first-generation students in grades II– VIII with the necessary values-based training to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. To guarantee that boys and girls have equal opportunity, the program will train both genders.

The program is introduced in two Varanasi schools, Primary School Daffi and Composite Vidyalaya Naveen, during the initial phase. The program will provide the pupils with an experience that fulfills their requirements for education, development, life skills, and nutrition.

For more than seven years, ROADIS has been implementing this initiative in Kedah, West Bengal. Due to the program’s positive effects, ROADIS is currently extending it to Varanasi, where it is building and running a 192-kilometer stretch of Varanasi Aurangabad NH-2 Tollways Private Limited.

In highlighting the importance of the initiative, *Eduardo Calvo, Global Corporate Responsibility Director-ROADIS* stated, “Sports plays an integral part in our growing up.”

We are giving the boys and girls of Varanasi a chance to experience a new, opportunity-filled way of life through our program. We have now finished the whole circle of children’s holistic development with the RMF program. In two schools where our Shikshantra Plus program for high-quality education is being implemented, we are launching the RMF program.

KHUSHI is now operational. We think that by providing students with both intellectual and practical tools, we are setting the stage for a future of successful, resilient, and socially concerned people.

The RMF program is a game-changing endeavor that uses football’s ability to instill values and cultivate an honorable culture in young students while also fostering vital life skills and significant values like motivation, equality, respect, teamwork, autonomy, and self-worth.

An RMF expert football trainer came to Varanasi for a three-day training session to instruct the local coaches, which comprise both male and female educators, at an international level using the Real Madrid technique. This camp gave the local educators the confidence to continue the program.
