The Goshen Sports Complex will host the Section 9 girls tennis finals on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 22–23.
The winners of the Mid-Hudson Athletic League and Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association tournaments from last week are positioned on opposite side of the draw, as is customary.
With two rounds scheduled for Tuesday and the semifinals and finals on Wednesday, the singles and doubles competitions each contain 16 entries.
Last week, the league crowns were won by the top entries from Our Lady of Lourdes and Middletown.
Middletown produced doubles champions Sandra Habwe and Alexis Michael, as well as singles champion Sasha Henesy.
Elia Bonavoglia and Emma Beradis won doubles, and Tiffany Ren won singles.
Vivienne Bucci from Newburgh, Isabel Luzzi from Red Hook, Ally Davis from Washingtonville, Katie Park from Spackenkill, Tiffany Mabnikoth-Sooksavath from Pine Bush, and Margo Ogden-Kosofsky from New Paltz are among the other top singles seeds.
